Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a small actress in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season and on June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
