Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received high praise from the music press and bloggers. Half the World Away - by Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that she has recorded. The singer gained further attention via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being fascinated by the music it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get work or for a passion and as a way to develop. She began to write with her own music. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite songwriters. The singer decided to perform her songs publicly when her mother said they might help others not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. The mother of her child suggested that she perform her songs publicly in order to make people aware of their importance and the ways they could impact the world. The family did not be aware of this until she was 14. Aurora's accomplishments were never her goal. She just loves to write songs. She says that music is her preferred method to feel anything.
